By 2040, the bp Energy Outlook* sees up to 25 million EVs on the UK’s roads. But to get there, the country needs EV charging infrastructure rolled out at scale – in the right places, at the right time, at the right speed. bp pulse is working to help deliver this.
We are one of the UK’s leading EV charging networks, with over 3,000 rapid and ultra-fast chargers and growing. For more than a decade, bp pulse has been building, operating and maintaining chargers across the country.
Our mission is simple: fast, reliable, and convenient charging – whether drivers are on the motorway, in a city, or at destinations like retail parks through partnerships with brands such as Marks & Spencer. From dedicated hubs to bp forecourts, we’re putting chargers where they are most needed.
We’re upgrading chargers, opening new sites, and creating spaces that offer more than just charging – think food, drink and convenience.

bp mostly produces, trades and sells oil and gas, alongside transition activities such as EV charging, bioenergy and renewables that are a much smaller but key part of our business.
