Career
Emma Delaney is executive vice president for customers & products (C&P) at bp, overseeing a portfolio of brands and operations serving millions of customers around the world, spanning fuels, convenience retail, biofuels, aviation fuelling, advanced lubricants and electric vehicle charging.
Since joining bp in 1995, Emma has held leadership roles across both upstream and downstream operations. Her three-decade career has taken her around the world, including positions such as regional president for West Africa, chief financial officer for Asia Pacific upstream, and head of business development for gas value chains.
Emma joined bp’s executive team in 2020 and has led the transformation of the C&P business - driving efficiency, strengthening the portfolio and supporting strong financial performance. Known for her strategic thinking, commercial acumen and calm, approachable leadership style, she champions safe operations, cost discipline and integrated value creation.
Originally from Ireland, Emma is now based in London and values time with her family outside of work.
