Statistical Review of World Energy
From 1952 until 2022, bp’s economics team also informed the energy economics community through its Statistical Review of World Energy, which provided historic data on world energy markets.
The Statistical Review’s new custodian, the Energy Institute (EI), published the 2025 edition of the Energy Institute Statistical Review of World Energy on 26 June, providing free-to-access data on global energy production, consumption, trade and emissions for 2024.
